The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), specifically the Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD), is making funds available for its Projects of National Significance: Family Support 360 Special Initiatives. This grant program aims to award up to 15 grants for the planning and implementation of new Family Support 360 Centers for persons with developmental disabilities. Authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000, these centers will promote the self-determination, independence, productivity, and full community integration of individuals with developmental disabilities through comprehensive family support activities. Applicants should note that, contrary to a previously published executive summary, ADD intends to fund up to 15 centers, not three, under this announcement.
