Description:: The Department of State?s Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) competitive process for fiscal year 2013/2014 for humanitarian demining, explosive ordnance disposal, and victims assistance programs. Projects typically would fall under one or more of the following broad categories: 1. Detection and neutralization of landmines and ERW. 2. Provision of risk education to individuals in areas threatened by mines and ERW. 3. Assistance in safeguarding and appropriately managing current stockpiles of government munitions and small arms/light weapons.
