The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is offering this grant to facilitate genomic research and disseminate its products across the broader biomedical community. This initiative supports the development and distribution of new and existing genomic resources that are broadly valuable for both basic and clinical genomics research. Successful proposals will contribute to essential resources such as genomic informatics toolsets, including biomedical ontologies and analysis tools, as well as comprehensive collections of genomic features like functional elements and genetic assay results. The grant also supports genomic community building efforts, such as standards development, and the establishment of sample repositories for high-value genomic studies. This grant is for advancing shared genomic infrastructure.
