The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management California is offering this grant to support its vital Threatened and Endangered Species Program. This initiative, likely bolstered by funding from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), is specifically designed to advance the conservation and recovery of imperiled species across California’s diverse landscapes. The purpose of this grant is to fund projects that protect, restore, and manage habitats critical for vulnerable plant and animal species. It aims to mitigate threats, promote ecological resilience, and ensure the long-term survival of threatened and endangered populations on BLM-managed lands. This funding opportunity provides financial assistance for research, habitat improvement, population monitoring, and other conservation efforts crucial for biodiversity preservation in the state.
