Additional Information

Agency Name: Dept. of the Army — USAMRAA
Description: This award supports the development of multi-institutional, multidisciplinary, translational
research partnerships between up to four clinicians and laboratory scientists to accelerate the movement of promising research hypotheses into clinical application in a manner that would be less readily achievable through separate efforts. This award is intended to support both new and established scientists across a broad spectrum of disciplines in research projects that are likely to make a major impact on military combat-relevant orthopaedic injuries. There must be at least one laboratory scientist and at least one clinician participating in the partnership. In addition, at least one member of the partnership must have experience either in orthopaedic research or orthopaedic medicine. Partnerships between academic institutions or government agencies and military investigators/clinicians are highly encouraged.
