USAID/Zimbabwe is offering a five-year bilateral cooperative agreement for organizations to manage a project benefiting orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC). This grant’s overall goal is to mitigate the impact of HIV and AIDS on Zimbabwe’s children by enhancing the sustainability of their care and support services. This is to be accomplished by strengthening the capacity of communities and local service providers to support vulnerable families and children, empowering vulnerable households to care for children, and reinforcing the public sector social service system. International, regional, and local Zimbabwean non-governmental organizations, or consortia, are invited to apply for this vital initiative.
