Description:

Notice of Funding Opportunity Summary

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an Agency under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is announcing the potential availability of agreements in Kansas for the purpose of leveraging NRCS resources, addressing local natural resource issues, encouraging collaboration, and developing State and community level conservation leadership. A total of up to $8,000,000 is available for FY 2023 for projects as identified in Section A of the Full Announcement in the Related Documents tab of this opportunity.

 

Proposals are requested from Federally recognized Tribal governments, State, and local units of government, non-governmental organizations, and institutions of higher learning for competitive consideration of agreement awards for projects between 1 and 5 years in duration.

Applicants must submit their applications via Grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday June 22, 2023. The estimated funding floor for this opportunity is $100,000, and the estimated funding ceiling is $3,000,000. The funding floor means the minimum agreement funding amount for the Federal share per agreement awarded. The ceiling is the maximum agreement funding amount for the Federal share per agreement awarded. These numbers refer to the total agreement amount, not any specific budget period.
