For purposes of this grant program, a rural health network is defined as a formal organizational arrangement among at least three separately owned health providers that come together to develop strategies for improving health services delivery systems in a rural community. A network in this context is not a large health system whereby multiple health care providers or organizations are owned and/or created by the same overarching entity to collaborate and achieve a particular goal. |
