Description:: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Jordan will shortly be issuing a solicitation seeking assistance applications to implement the USAID/Jordan Community Engagement Program. The anticipated level of funding for this program is $30,000,000 over a period of three (3) years with possible phases extending the program to five (5) years.The goal of the program is to strengthen community and national engagement in the context of regional volatility and transitions associated with domestic policy reform, economic conditions and demographic changes. The goal will be supported by the achievement of three objectives:1. Expand NGO, community organization, professional association and government efforts to build resilience and address cohesion-related challenges;2. Increase civil society-government-private sector cooperation in building resilience and addressing cohesion-related challenges; and3. Strengthen skills and build other capacity relevant to community and national cohesion.Eligible applicants are US, international or national organizations, faith-based and community organizations, or educational institutions who are able to respond in person through oral applications and be able to mobilize in a very short period of time.
