Description:: | United State Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) Notice of Intent to Award. This is not a request for applications. The applicant is uniquely qualified to perform the activity based upon a variety of demonstrable factors such as location, cost-sharing ability if applicable, technical expertise, or other such unique qualifications. Additionally, KBO is a long-term key partner in resource management projects with the National Park Service. Klamath Bird Observatory is the premiere ornithological science organization the Klamath Region, with 20 years of observational research, inventory, monitoring, and science communication. No other entity exists in our region with comparable capabilities for avian monitoring.
