CISE’s Division of Computing and Communication Foundations (CCF) is offering this grant to support innovative research and education projects across three core areas: Algorithmic Foundations, Communications and Information Foundations, and Software and Hardware Foundations. This grant is designed to foster new knowledge and advancements within these critical computing and communication domains. Proposers can submit under three project classes: Small (up to $500,000 for three years), Medium ($500,001 to $1,200,000 for four years), and Large ($1,200,001 to $3,000,000 for five years). These investments complement the larger Expeditions in Computing program. The closing date for submissions is November 30, 2012.
