This grant is for the purpose of establishing an Administrative Core for the HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) Study, a major component of the NIH Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL) Initiative. Jointly funded by multiple NIH institutes including NIDA, NINDS, and NIMH, this cooperative agreement aims to support a crucial coordinating body. The Administrative Core will assist, guide, and coordinate overall project activities for the HBCD Consortium. It complements parallel funding opportunities for a Data Coordinating Center and various Research Project Sites, ensuring a cohesive and well-managed research effort focused on understanding brain and child development within the HEAL Initiative’s broader scope.
