Project Background Information: In an effort to increase recreational opportunities in the Pinedale Field Office, a recreation project is being conducted using ARRA funding at Warren Bridge. This project provides an opportunity to enjoy the Green River and related recreation activities. The high elevation and rolling prairie environment provides many recreation opportunities amid stunning vistas of the Wind River Mountains. Activities include fishing, float boating, camping, hunting, swimming, picnicking, hiking and wildlife viewing. The project includes delineating, improving, and enhancing approximately 8 miles of a river corridor foot trail.This project was identified in the Upper Green River Special Recreation Management Area Recreation Project Plan and Environmental Assessment December 2003. B. Project Objective:The project objective is an effort to create jobs for youth. Conservation Corps employ youth aged 18 to 25 and each crew consists of 8 to 12 youth members along with a crew chief. This project affords using up to two crews employing up to 24 youth.C. Statement of Joint Objectives/Project Management Plan: The BLM will cooperatively work with the conservation corps in developing the operational parameters for monitoring the project. BLM will review and report progress of delineation and document results from the work effort. BLM will provide onsite presence during on-the-ground work.
