Description: The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for the State and Local Terrorism Prevention Training and Technical Assistance National Initiative Program, funded through the Department of Justice Appropriations Act, 2010 (Pub. L. No. 111-117). This training and technical assistance program will further the Department’s counter-terror efforts and assist state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies to prevent acts of terror in their jurisdictions. This training will emphasize that constitutional rights, civil liberties, civil rights, and privacy interests must be protected throughout the intelligence process.
