Description: The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Golden Gate Recreation Area (“GGNRA”) is entering into Task Agreement J8148100003 with Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (“Parks Conservancy”) conduct on-site public engagement support for road improvements occurring in the Marin Headlands and Fort Baker. The objective of the on-site public engagement support will be as follows: (1) interface with the public, (2) provide information about project goals and outcomes, (3) address park visitors’ questions and concerns about project actions; (4) build community awareness and support for the project; (5) explain closures, trail detours and project timelines, (6) collect public engagement data and assess public response; (7) distribute outreach materials; (8) maintain and update project-related signage and (9) ensure visitor safety by monitoring construction fences and barricades.This agreement will be processed under an existing Cooperative Agreement, 1443CA-8140-98-001. This award is in accordance with the Department of Interior Policy, 505 DM2.
