NIJ Grant for Social Science Research in Forensic Science
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is offering this grant to support social science research aimed at enhancing the field of forensic science. This grant is for the purpose of improving public safety and advancing the administration of justice through the more effective and efficient use of forensic evidence within the criminal justice system. Given that forensic disciplines are constantly changing and evolving, particularly with technological advancements, NIJ seeks a wide range of projects. These projects should contribute to better utilization of forensic evidence and ensure the integrity of forensic processes. Applicants are encouraged to propose research in the identified topics or other pertinent social science areas within forensic science.
