The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), via its Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and in partnership with the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), is offering the Fiscal Year 2024 Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program grants. This grant is for establishing and strengthening community coalitions dedicated to preventing youth substance use. The program aims to foster robust collaboration among community groups, non-profit agencies, and federal, state, local, and tribal governments. The primary goals are to reduce substance abuse among individuals 18 and younger, and over time, among adults, by addressing community risk factors and promoting protective elements. This initiative empowers local efforts to build healthier, drug-free environments for young people.
