The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) offers this visiting fellow grant to advance the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) design. This grant is for the purpose of developing a modular design for the crime incident report questionnaire, a key component for the redesigned NCVS. The selected fellow will also review literature on handling repeat victimization and collaborate closely with BJS Program Managers and staff. This collaborative effort will focus on creating a robust strategy to address repeat victimization within the redesigned survey, ultimately enhancing the survey’s effectiveness and data quality.
