The Division of Behavioral and Social Research (BSR) is offering this grant to renew vital network and infrastructure support for advancing high-priority behavioral and social research on aging. This grant aims to foster development in key areas including stress measurement, life course health disparities at older ages, aging research in criminal justice and health disparities, rural aging, genomics of behavioral and social science, and behavioral and social research on aging in animal models. The network infrastructure is designed to build resources, attract new researchers to aging studies, integrate a focus on health disparities, and promote transdisciplinary collaboration. Activities supported by this grant include developing novel research areas through meetings and pilot studies, dissemination, outreach, and various educational opportunities such as intensive summer institutes, workshops, and advanced seminars to strengthen the field.
