This grant, the Community Solutions Program, is for the purpose of supporting and encouraging initiatives led by young civic and community leaders, aged 25-38, who are actively working to address pressing economic, environmental, political, and social challenges in their local communities across Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, South and Central Asia, and the Western Hemisphere. Offered by the Office of Citizen Exchanges of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the program provides professional fellowships with a dedicated leadership component. These fellowships aim to equip eligible individuals with enhanced capabilities to more effectively tackle issues of concern within their own towns, cities, and regions.
