For profit organizations other than small businesses
Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
Others (see text field entitled “Additional Information on Eligibility” for clarification)
Additional Information on Eligibility: Applicants are limited to for-profit (commercial) organizations, nonprofit organizations, faith-based and community organizations, and institutions of higher learning with demonstrated expertise in assisting communities develop, maintain, and enhance juvenile drug courts and family drug courts. OJJDP encourages organizations or agencies with expert knowledge of such drug courts to apply. For-profit organizations must agree to waive any profit or fees for services. Joint applications from two or more eligible applicants are welcome; however, one applicant must be clearly indicated as the primary applicant (for correspondence, award, and management purposes) and the others indicated as co-applicants.

The goal of the Juvenile Drug Court Training and Technical Assistance Program is to build the capacity of states, state courts, local courts, units of local government, and Indian tribal governments to maintain, and enhance existing drug courts for substance-abusing juvenile offenders. OJJDP is seeking a provider to deliver training and technical assistance (TTA) to juvenile drug courts about how to implement the 16 Strategies of Effective Juvenile Drug Courts (hereafter referred to as the Strategies) and other juvenile drug court best practices.
