This Federal Health Research Department offers a grant to support investigator-driven research focused on enhancing the quality of life (QOL) for persons with HIV aged 50 years and older (PWH50+). This grant aims to enable recipients to conduct formative qualitative and mixed-method research to identify factors impacting QOL. Findings should be translated into strategies, assessed for acceptability with PWH50+ or service providers, and disseminated. The research is expected to significantly improve QOL for older individuals with HIV, aligning with the HIV National Strategic Plan (2022-2025) and the ‘Treat’ Pillar of the national Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative.
