The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering this grant to support its vital Wild Horse and Burro Resource Management efforts, specifically focusing on off-range activities. This initiative addresses the care and management of wild horses and burros gathered from public lands, awaiting adoption, sale, or long-term pasturing. This grant is for organizations and individuals dedicated to providing humane care, fostering successful placements, and maintaining the health and welfare of these animals in off-range facilities. Funding aims to enhance infrastructure, support feeding programs, facilitate adoption, and ensure the overall well-being of these herds under BLM stewardship.
