This FOA focuses on innovative research projects that have the potential to open new areas of HIV/AIDS research and/or lead to new avenues for prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS among substance abusers. The nexus with substance abuse should be clearly described. This FOA is open to both individual researchers and research teams and is not limited to any one area of research.
