| Additional Information on Eligibility: | This is a "Notice of Intent" of a single source task agreement award to the Iowa State University, Ames, IA under the Great Rivers Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU).
The PI has paricular technical expertise in the realm of historic road preservation, having completed a variety of cultural lanscape studies and preservation master plans for the National Park Service, other agencies and organization. This technical expertise is needed in order to complete a cultural landscape inventory (CLI) for Rimrock Drive at Colorado National Monument. The PI and her students are familiar with federal standards and guidelines for CLIs, having previously completed other inventories for the Intermountain Region. Additionally, Iowa State University also possesses a GIS lab with technical support required for mapping the road corridor. |
