This agreement presents the procedures for the participation by staff and members of the Geological Society of America (GSA), in administering a program that will provide geoscientists and other Earth scientists opportunities to assist the NPS with inventorying, monitoring, research, and interpretation / education of geologic and other natural resources on lands administered by the National Park Service, hereinafter called the “NPS”. This agreement establishes procedures for partnering between the NPS Geoscientists-in-the-Parks and the GSA GeoCorps America¿ Programs (GeoCorps-GIP). This Agreement also provides opportunities for NPS and GSA to work together on additional programs with common goals. |
