This grant, offered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) California Headquarters, is specifically designed to support the California Plant Conservation and Restoration Management Program. Funded through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), this initiative aims to bolster efforts in protecting and restoring vital plant communities across California’s public lands. Projects will focus on enhancing biodiversity, improving ecosystem resilience, and addressing threats such as climate change, invasive species, and habitat degradation. The program seeks proposals that contribute to the long-term health and sustainability of California’s unique flora, ensuring the conservation of native plant species and the effective management of ecosystems for future generations. This funding will facilitate critical work in ecological restoration, land stewardship, and sustainable resource management within BLM-managed areas.
