The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management Colorado (BLM CO) is offering the FY24 IIJA/IRA Good Neighbor Authority Program. This grant initiative aims to foster collaborative efforts between BLM CO and state partners to enhance the management and restoration of federal lands within Colorado. Leveraging funds from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (IIJA) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the program supports projects focused on critical land management priorities. These may include wildfire risk reduction, forest health improvements, invasive species management, and ecosystem restoration. The Good Neighbor Authority empowers states to undertake projects on BLM-managed lands, increasing the pace and scale of vital conservation and resource management activities. This funding opportunity is crucial for bolstering environmental resilience and supporting sustainable land use practices across Colorado’s public lands. The application period closes on March 1, 2024.
