| Additional Information on Eligibility: | In accordance with 2 CFR 910.126, Competition, eligibility for award is restricted to:Track 1: Accelerator Stewardship Topical AreasApplications for activities in Track 1: Accelerator Stewardship Topical Areas will be accepted from all responsible domestic organizations capable of meeting the objectives of this FOA.Track 2: Long-Term Generic Accelerator R&DApplications for activities in Track 2: Long-Term Generic Accelerator R&D will only be accepted from regionally-accredited U.S. academic institutions or domestic non-profit organizations subject to section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.Track 3: Accelerator Stewardship Test Facility ProgramApplications for activities in Track 3: Accelerator Stewardship Test Facility Program will be accepted from all responsible domestic organizations capable of meeting the objectives of this FOA, with the exception of DOE National Laboratories, which cannot be the lead institution on a Track 3 application. Partnering DOE National Laboratories must submit their collaborative application to Grants.gov.Track 4a: Accelerator-Technology Sector Business PlansApplications for activities in Track 4a: Accelerator-Technology Sector Production Enhancement will be accepted from all responsible domestic organizations capable of meeting the objectives of this FOA.Track 4b: Accelerator Technology PartnershipsApplications for activities in Track 4b: Accelerator Technology Partnerships will be accepted from all responsible domestic for-profit organizations.Eligibility is limited in Track 2 to regionally-accredited domestic institutions of higher education and non-profit organizations. The tools of accelerator science are maintained by domestic institutions of higher education and non-profit organizations, and the leadership and expertise in conducting research in accelerator science and engineering have been demonstrated to reside at domestic institutions of higher education and non-profit organizations.Eligibility is limited in Track 4b to domestic for-profit organizations, as the intent of this Track is to develop U.S. companies capable of producing particle accelerator components for DOE and commercial purposes. |
