Eligible Applicants: Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
Others (see text field entitled “Additional Information on Eligibility” for clarification)
Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
Additional Information on Eligibility: Only not-for-profit institutions and organizations are eligible to compete for this grant.

Both U.S. and non-U.S. entities are eligible to compete for this grant.

The Department encourages organizations that have not previously received international program funding from the U.S. Government to apply under this announcement.

Applicants must have a demonstrated expertise in educational radio programming, as well as the ability to develop and implement a program.

The applicant must have the ability to provide security and secure housing and transport for their staff in Afghanistan. Security needs may be included in the proposal budget.
