In 2013, the Department will hold a competition for fiscal year (FY) 2012 EAG funds to support the development or enhancement of a kindergarten entry assessment (KEA) that is aligned with the State’s early learning and development standards and that must cover all of the essential domains of school readiness. We will give priority to early learning collaborative efforts among States (collaborative efforts) in developing this assessment.Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 84.368A.Applications for grants under the Enhanced Assessment Instruments Grants KEA competition, CFDA number 84.368A, must be submitted electronically using the Governmentwide Grants.gov Apply site at www.Grants.gov. Through this site, you will be able to download a copy of the application package, complete it offline, and then upload and submit your application.
