| Description:: |
The Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 Homeland Security National Training Program (HSNTP), National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (HSNTP/NDPC) solicitation has an important role in the implementation of the National Preparedness System (NPS) by supporting the building, sustainment, and delivery of core capabilities essential to achieving the National Preparedness Goal (NPG) of a secure and resilient Nation. Delivering core capabilities requires the combined effort of the whole community, rather than the exclusive effort of any single organization or level of government. The solicitation provides funds to develop training programs to build and sustain core capabilities across the Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery mission areas. FEMA invites select eligible organizations, as noted above, to apply under this solicitation to support development and delivery of training programs to build and sustain core capabilities across the Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery mission areas. Cooperative agreements will be awarded to these eligible applicants to design, develop, and deliver training content and support for Federal, State, local, and tribal jurisdictions in accordance with FEMA’s training guidance and approved Homeland Security Strategies. Funding for this year’s solicitation is authorized by The Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2013, (Public Law No: 113-6). |
