This grant is for implementing Culturally-Specific Trauma Services for Families Impacted by Domestic Violence. | Additional Information on Eligibility: | To be eligible to receive a grant to lead a program focused on Culturally-Specific Trauma Services for Families Impacted by Domestic Violence, an entity shall be a nonprofit private organization (including faith-based and charitable organizations, community-based organizations, culturally-specific, and voluntary associations), institutions of higher education (private, public, or state controlled), Tribal government, or tribal organization, with a demonstrated record of serving victims of domestic violence or dating violence and their children from historically marginalized or underserved communities. For additional details on the eligibility requirements for the discretionary funding please seeSection 304(b) of the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act, as amended by Section 201 of the CAPTA Reauthorization Act of 2010, Pub. L. 111-320. Faith-based and community organizations that meet eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement. Individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorship organizations are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement. |
