This NIH department is offering this grant to support the creation of a Person-Centered Outcomes Research Resource (PCORR). This grant is for the purpose of establishing a vital research infrastructure focused on administering investigations that utilize person-centered health outcomes. The overarching goal of the PCORR is to significantly facilitate person-centered outcome research across various fields. This will be achieved by supporting the continued use and enhancement of four key measurement information systems previously funded by NIH: the Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS), the NIH Toolbox for Assessment of Neurological and Behavioral Function, the Quality of Life Outcomes in Neurological Disorders (Neuro-QOL), and the Adult Sickle Cell Quality of Life Measurement Information System (ASCQ-Me). This initiative aims to strengthen the framework for comprehensive health outcomes studies.
