This grant, offered by the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management Utah, is specifically designed to support critical invasive and noxious plant management efforts across the state. Leveraging funds from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), this program aims to mitigate the spread of harmful plant species that threaten Utah’s ecological health and biodiversity. The Bureau of Land Management is seeking proposals to implement effective strategies, including prevention, early detection, rapid response, control, and restoration activities. This initiative is crucial for maintaining the integrity of natural landscapes and supporting sustainable land use practices. The deadline for applications is April 19, 2024.
