Additional Information

Agency Name: Geological Survey
Description: The US Geological Survey’s National and Regional Climate Adaptation Science Center (NRCASC), is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research to support the project entitled “Synthesizing Species Range Shift in a Changing Climate at a National Scale”. The funding opportunity is to develop a national synthesis product related to the impacts of climate change on species range shifts. Success of this program requires significant technical expertise on the topic of species’ range shifts in the context of climate change, as well as experience in conducting collaborative research synthesis efforts across spatial scales and across scientific disciplines. The recipient will work collaboratively with USGS to provide scientific leadership for this national-scale synthesis. This will also include a science report, which will synthesize the climate-mediated species movement.
