| Additional Information on Eligibility: | This is a notice of intent to award Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) up to $2,670,167 under justification 505DM2.14(B4). The Water Resources Development Act of 1976, Public Law 94-587 and Fish and Wildlife Coodination Act, 16 U.S.C. 661-666 authorizes and directs the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Lower Snake River Compensation Plan Office (LSRCP) to work with other State and Federal agencies, and Indian tribes to develop and implement a program to rear sufficient numbers of Chinook and Steelhead smolts so a sufficient number of adults return back to the Snake River basin to compensate for fish losses. ODFW is uniquely qualified as they manage the LSRCP facilities in the state of Oregon. |
