The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is offering the Lead Technical Studies Grant, which aims to advance knowledge in evaluating and controlling lead-based paint and other housing-related health and safety hazards. This grant is for improving the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of methods to address these critical issues. By supporting innovative research, the program aligns with HUD’s strategic goal of utilizing housing as a platform to enhance the quality of life and health outcomes for residents in HUD-assisted and regulated properties. Furthermore, it contributes to building inclusive and sustainable communities by prioritizing improved resident health and mitigating the environmental impact of housing. This initiative seeks to foster healthier living environments and reduce associated risks nationwide.
