The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is offering this grant to build the capacity of state courts, local courts, units of local government, and federally recognized Tribal governments. This grant is for the purpose of establishing new family treatment courts, enhancing existing ones, or expanding these critical services at larger state and county levels. This program directly furthers the Department’s mission to expand access to evidence-based prevention and treatment for substance use disorders. It supports states and communities in developing and implementing effective, coordinated intervention programs that address the complex needs of families, ultimately promoting healthier outcomes for children and parents involved with the justice system.
