The Department of the Interior, through its Bureau of Land Management Arizona, is offering this grant to support crucial invasive and noxious plant management initiatives. This program is specifically designed to address the widespread issue of non-native species impacting Arizona’s natural landscapes. This grant is for the purpose of controlling and mitigating the spread of invasive plants that threaten ecological health, biodiversity, and the productivity of public lands. It aims to restore native plant communities, enhance habitat quality, and safeguard the resilience of ecosystems across BLM-managed areas in Arizona. The funding will support on-the-ground projects, research, and collaborative efforts to effectively manage and prevent future infestations, ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of these vital natural resources.
