Eligible Applicants: Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
Additional Information on Eligibility: This is not a request for applications; this is just an announcement that NPS is continuing its task agreement with the Erie Canalway Heritage Fund, Inc., for their work on the Erie Canalway Heritage Area management plan.

ECHF agrees to:

1. Implement the Management Plan in accordance with the terms of the Agreement and the Legislation as described in Attachment A – FY13 Work Plan and Budget.

2. Conduct public meetings at least semiannually regarding the implementation of the Management Plan.

3. Include units of local government, regional planning organizations, and nonprofit organizations in developing a management plan.

4. Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, including, but not limited to, National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act.

5. Prepare compliance documents for NPS and/or State approval.
