The cost share overall goal is a 50:50 match. Funding amounts for partners may range from $500 up to $200,000.00 annually depending on the scope of the project and the cost share funding responsibilities of the partners and BLM. Arizona BLM will reimburse CCS partners up to but not exceeding $200,000.00 annually, not to exceed five years.

Agency Name: Bureau of Land Management
Description: The principle purpose of the CCS program is to promote cost-share partnerships with non-federal entities for the purpose of public land management of important resources such as cultural, fisheries, recreation, wildlife and native plant communities including special status plants. Non-federal partners may include state agencies, Tribes, local governments, non-governmental organizations, private companies, and private individuals. Another purpose of this project is to continue a partnership between the Arizona Water Protection Fund and BLM in order to:

1.Increase and improve riparian habitat through continued cooperative rehabilitation work on the Pakoon Springs Complex on the GCPNM.

2.Provide for visitor recreation, interpretation, and education.

3.The objective of this agreement is to return proper ecosystem function to this important area.
