The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (State) is offering this grant to support comprehensive cultural and paleontological resources management initiatives. This funding opportunity aims to facilitate the preservation, protection, and responsible stewardship of invaluable historical, archaeological, and fossil resources located on public lands managed by the BLM. Projects funded through this grant will contribute to critical research, documentation, excavation, and conservation efforts, ensuring these non-renewable assets are identified, safeguarded, and made accessible for scientific study and public understanding for future generations. The grant is specifically designed to enhance current management practices and advance the scientific understanding of these significant cultural and paleontological resources.
