The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is offering this grant to fund research and evaluation studies focused on tribal youth delinquency. The primary purpose is to generate practical findings for practitioners, administrators, and policymakers. These insights will aid in developing effective programs, policies, and strategies aimed at preventing and intervening in tribal youth delinquency. Furthermore, this grant seeks to deepen our understanding of the unique experiences, strengths, and needs of tribal youth, their families, and communities. The ultimate goal is to identify and implement effective methods to reduce their risks for current and future delinquency, as well as victimization.
