The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering this grant to support critical plant conservation and restoration initiatives across Colorado. This funding opportunity is specifically designed to enhance the health and resilience of the state’s diverse plant communities and their associated habitats. The primary purpose of this grant is to address challenges such as habitat degradation, invasive species proliferation, and climate change impacts, which threaten native flora. Successful projects will focus on comprehensive management strategies, including the propagation and reintroduction of native plant species, ecological restoration, seed collection, and long-term monitoring programs. This grant aims to preserve biodiversity, promote ecosystem function, and ensure sustainable land management practices within Colorado. It is an opportunity for organizations and researchers to contribute significantly to the stewardship of natural resources.
