The U.S. Embassy Maseru’s Public Affairs Section (PAS) invites proposals for programs aimed at strengthening cultural ties and promoting bilateral cooperation between the U.S. and the Kingdom of Lesotho. This grant supports initiatives that highlight shared values and foster a deeper understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives. All proposed programs must incorporate an American cultural element or a connection with U.S. experts, organizations, or institutions. Eligible activities include expanding U.S.-Lesotho exchange programs, enhancing government and civil society capabilities, youth development (e.g., community service, leadership, entrepreneurship), civic education, arts and cultural events, new media concepts, media training, and engaging with the American Corner & YALI Leadership Innovation Hub. Programs outside Maseru through the ‘American Corner on the Road’ series are also encouraged.
