The Bureau of Land Management Alaska is offering this grant to support youth conservation opportunities on public lands. This funding initiative is specifically designed to engage young individuals in meaningful environmental stewardship activities across Alaska’s vast landscapes. The grant is for projects that provide hands-on experience in conservation, land management, and outdoor recreation, fostering a deeper connection to nature. Its purpose is to cultivate the next generation of land stewards by promoting environmental education, skill development, and leadership among youth. The goal is to empower young people to contribute to the preservation and sustainable use of public lands, ensuring these vital resources thrive for future generations. This opportunity helps bridge the gap between youth and conservation efforts.
