This cooperative agreement creates a partnership between the Association of the Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) and the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) to support the state fish and wildlife agencies on invasive species and energy development issues and to coordinate between FWS and state agencies. Under the agreement AFWA will provide financial support to state agency officials to travel to Washington, DC, for Invasive Species Week, and provide coordination activities between the state agencies and FWS for both invasive species and energy development issues.
