The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Colorado is offering this grant for the comprehensive management of cultural and paleontological resources. This funding supports projects focused on identifying, protecting, preserving, and studying significant heritage sites and fossil remains on BLM-managed lands across Colorado. This grant is specifically for ensuring responsible stewardship of these invaluable, non-renewable assets, securing their long-term integrity and accessibility. The purpose is to enhance conservation efforts for historical, archaeological, and paleontological resources throughout Colorado’s public landscapes, fostering scientific understanding and sustainable management of the state’s rich cultural and prehistoric legacy.
