This grant, offered by the Department of the Interior – Bureau of Land Management, is dedicated to supporting critical plant conservation and restoration initiatives across Alaska. Its primary purpose is to fund projects that actively work to protect, restore, and enhance native plant communities. This includes efforts to combat invasive species, rehabilitate degraded habitats, and promote the overall biodiversity of Alaska’s unique ecosystems. The program aims to foster sustainable land management practices and ensure the long-term ecological health and resilience of the region’s flora.
